Introduction :

Gram+Dhan India Foundation is an organisation dedicated to the cause of village development. Eighty Percent of India lives in villages. All our villages are still under developed and the villagers live below the accepted human standard of living. This vast resource of humanity has not even been utilised marginally by us besides very little for agricultural production. This phenomena of under utilised human resource is seen in all the under developed or the developing countries like ours. Consider the 80% of one billion India's population, which is in villages, amounts to 800 million people who are under utilised. Such a huge manpower if effectively utilised can do wonders and increase the GDP of our country by many folds. To tap this enormous resource it is necessary to first develop the capabilities of the villagers to perform the required tasks. Gram Dhan’s objectives are to train the rural manpower and utilise it productively. This will improve the standard of living of the villagers, increase the literacy and will reduce the gap between the cities and the villages.
